This Privacy policy explains what mr.bid Ghana stores so the marketplace can run, who can see it, and how you can download or close your account. The Cookie policy covers cookies in more detail.

What we store

We store the details you give us and the activity that happens on your account: name, email, optional phone, shop profile, listings and photos, messages, offers, bids, deals, reports, support tickets, live-chat transcripts, rewards rows when Rewards is on, and which legal versions you accepted. Sign-in sessions, staff actions, and legal acceptances also store an IP and the browser description from that request.

Recommendations

For You and similar rails use activity already on your account — watchlist, offers, bids, completed deals, and saved searches that name a category — plus listings you opened in this browser. We do not keep a buyer search log or a browse graph of every page you open. Those rails stay empty when there is no signal. We do not fill them with random newest listings.

What we do not collect

We do not collect card numbers or mobile-money wallets. Payment for an item happens between you and the other party. Fees you pay to mr.bid for promotions or Professional Seller are verified from a reference you submit; that is not a card capture on this website.

Who can see what

The public marketplace can show your shop name, listings, and the details you put on those listings. Phone numbers are shown only when a signed-in member asks from a listing, and only if the seller allows it. We log that reveal. Online and last-active status stay off the public marketplace by default. Other members may see Online or Active recently in a conversation if you allow it — never a clock time.

Staff with the matching desk permission can open a case that already involves you — a listing, a deal, a report, a ticket, or a chat. They open that case, not a list of every account on the site. A legal hold on an account stops that account from being closed until staff release it.

Your copy and closing the account

You can download a copy of your account data from My Account, including the legal versions you accepted. Closing an account suspends login and unpublishes your listings. Records stay where they are needed for safety, for the other people in your deals, and where the law requires a record.

A Privacy / my data request on Contact opens a privacy ticket for export, correction, or close. That is not a wipe of every row that other people still need.
