This policy explains who owns what appears on mr.bid Ghana, the licence you give us so the marketplace can run, and how a rights holder asks us to review a listing. It covers copyright and other intellectual property used on listings, photos, messages, and shop pages. Safety reports (scam, prohibited item, abuse) stay on the listing Report form.

Your rights in what you post

You keep the rights you already have in your own photographs, text, and other work. Posting on mr.bid is not a sale of those rights to us, and it is not a sale to other members.

You must have the right to post what you post. That includes photos you took, text you wrote, and brand names you are allowed to use. Do not upload someone else's photograph, listing copy, logo, or design as if it were yours. Do not list a counterfeit as genuine, and do not use another company's mark in a way that would make a buyer think the item is official when it is not.

Licence so the marketplace can run

When you post a listing, photo, message, or shop detail, you give mr.bid Ghana a non-exclusive licence to store it, display it, make resized copies for cards and share previews, and show it in search, category pages, and merchandising rails. We use that licence only to operate and present the marketplace. You can still use the same work elsewhere.

If you unpublish or delete a listing, we take it off the public marketplace. We may keep a copy where a deal, a report, a copyright case, or a legal hold still needs the record.

The mr.bid name, logo, and layout are ours. You may say that you sell on mr.bid. You may not copy the site design or use the mark as if you operate this marketplace.

Sending a notice

If you are the rights holder, or you are authorised to act for them, send a notice from the Copyright notice page. You need an account so staff can open a case and reply. The form asks for the rights-holder name, a contact email or phone, the work you claim, the listing URL or slug, and the basis of your rights. You must confirm the notice is accurate and that this is not a United States DMCA form.

That form is the notice process for rights on mr.bid Ghana. It is not a United States DMCA takedown or counter-notice, and sending a notice does not start a court case.

What staff do with a notice

Staff review the notice and the listing. They can restrict the listing or leave it live. A notice does not take a listing down by itself, and sending one is not a finding that someone has infringed. Staff may ask for more detail before they decide.

The listing seller can send a counter-statement on the same case. Staff decide after they have both sides. The seller does not see the claimant's contact details on that page; staff see the full notice.

Three or more copyright notices on the same seller are flagged for review. That flag is not an automatic ban and it is not an automatic takedown of every listing on the shop.

A false or copy-paste notice wastes the desk. Staff may close it. Repeated false notices can lead to a restriction on the account that sent them.

This policy is part of the Terms of use. MR.BID GH LTD operates mr.bid Ghana. It is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
